I have been going out with this girl for 4 years and i know sooner or later i will have to take the next step but any time i see another girl i wish it was her i was marrying.

you don't have to take the next step, in order for you to do that you should be able to look at other girls without an interest, if not, thats not fair for you to do to your girl friend
well then ask her to marry you instead of that girl your seeing. boy if you marry her your life will be better but if you marry the girl you are "seeing" you will be in alot of trouble take my addvise child
maybe ur not completely in love with ur girlfriend
