I was with my ex for five years and things just didn't work out, so I broke it off, and told him we would make better friends then a couple, he said he understands but is always telling me we will be back together one day and that he is never going to give up, but he hasn't changed in five years and I know that he is not going to now. So what do I do so that he gets the drift that I don't want a relationship with him any more. I need advice bad, it has been over two months. |

Tell him that u will not be a part of his future. You have moved on and you want him to be happy and do the same. Tell him that his persistence is overwhelming and if you two are meant to get together some day, it will happen but you doubt it. Part ways and move on. If through some unfortunate circumstance you 2 are reunited, tell him you are glad he was right and how much u love him. If it never happens, pat yourself on the back for following your instincts. Make sure he knows that you are uncomfortable when he keeps telling you that there is a future for u two. He may think its romantic but its annoying to you, so you have to clear it up soon. If you still love him, tell him so but make sure he knows there is no chance of a future together. And always Be very careful about breaking hearts. |
